For my first prints I looked at objects that I could collect
prints from that both accumulated and dispersed. I collected these both from
inside and outside to vary the prints. These have all obviously been made
outside of the studio and some of the objects that I've used are body prints
such as hands and feet, rubbings of various surfaces and the bottoms of bottles
and glasses. I used things such as
acrylic and oil paint, colour pencil and even a photocopier. I could create a
project on any of the prints so I don’t want to narrow my focus too soon. I
think that one of my most successful prints is the glass print where I have
printed the glass repetitively. I hope to carry this forward and develop more
my ideas on repetitive patterns.
