I have been experimenting with bring the shapes that I have
been playing around with my sketchbook onto my plates. The patterns are from
the early prints that I experimented with repeating patterns; I kept it simple
so I could then further develop it when I figure out what works and what
doesn't. I Have created a different tones in the ink by using different
textures, for example the really dark areas I have used sand because it absorbs
more ink. I really think that this method works well and I will be really important
to reuse the plates changing the colours and the amount of ink that is applied
to the surface. The plate where I have shredded the paper I really like because
it ties in so well with my project and there so many ways that I can develop
it.
